Area Two Cable Council (ATCC) is a state mandated, regional organization of volunteer representatives appointed by the chief elected official in each of the six municipalities served. Its members serve in an advisory capacity to Cablevision (Home Page), provider of the commercial network channels, and to the licensed provider of the three community access channels, Sound View Community Media, Inc. In that role, its representatives convey to the provider’s subscribers community interests and concerns on content and state or federal cable policies and regulations. ATCC has an instrumental role in the development and usage of the public, education and government access channels (P-E-G) and the Cablevision owned institutional network (I-net). The council, at will, has also been an intervener or complainant to the Connecticut Department of Public Utility Control (DPUC) in matters that affect cable subscribers, community access or I-net programming.
We welcome comments or complaints from cable subscribers regarding your service and any ideas on how the cable providers may better serve the customers and the community.
